I have worked at the University of Central Lancashire for 17 years and my current role is Personal Assistant to the Director of UK Recruitment & Partnerships and Academic Registry.

When I began scoring, I had already been playing cricket for about five years, so I had a good understanding of the game.

I passed the Level 2 ECB umpires’ course in 2019 and, as a member of the ACO, I get regular training and development opportunities. Since then, I have umpired over 100 matches in both Lancashire leagues and Palace Shield.
