I have participated in cricket since I can remember and my dream is to one day play for Lancashire. I am third generation player following
My career is in nursing and for the last 15 years I have specialised in safeguarding (children and adults.)
My Grandad made me a member of Lancashire Cricket Club before I was even 10 mins old.
My cricket journey began by playing in the garden with my family and then going to Winstanley Park CC when I was 9.
I taught in Further Education for 15 years and now work for an examinations board in vocational qualifications.
Mike has played for Tarleton Cricket Club for over 30 years and is now the club’s president.
WLCDG promote cricket participation for underrepresented groups, with a focus on women and girls’ cricket and junior cricket.
