My cricket journey began when my good friend Sarah said, “Do you fancy playing cricket?” I’d never played before but thought, what the heck! Why not? Never looked back!

I started playing cricket in 2018 when Tarleton first started a women and girls’ team. I am probably best at batting and wicket keeping though I also like fielding elsewhere, especially mid-wicket. I like to give bowling a go – God loves a trier!

Dad plays cricket and I became a scorer when I was 12 years old which sparked my interest in the game. When outdoor sports were allowed again after the pandemic, I decided to try the women’s cricket training and really enjoyed it and so my cricket journey began!
