My first game was when I was about 10 years old, away against Longridge. My brother’s team needed an extra player, so I was roped in on the day, despite wearing a dress! It was obviously a good decision because we went on to win the match!

I am considered to be a batter. However, fielding is what I enjoy most because you never really know what is going to happen next and it’s always a different experience every game. My favourite game to date was the final of the 2022 season for Ramsbottom away at Blackpool. That day, we not only won the game, but also the league and we all had a great time doing it. 

My best performance was playing against Tarleton for Ramsbottom in the last game of the 2022 season. I scored 34 runs after initially retiring on 25 runs and coming back in to get 9 more. This was also the game where we became the undefeated champions of the U15s league!

I tell people to always have fun because without having fun, there is no point in playing. I would also say, ‘Aim high’ because anything is possible.
