West Lancs Cricket Development Group’s tour of Spain is officially underway!

The teams arrived in Granada in southern Spain late last night and were straight into action at the Granada Oval this afternoon.

WLCDG has entered two teams into the inaugural Granada Sixes competition – the Warriors and the Guardians. The two sides faced each other in the first game of the tournament, with a re-match scheduled for tomorrow.

Earlier the two sides were led through training sessions by the tour’s coaches, to acclimatise to the hot and sunny conditions in Spain.

The tournament will get into full swing tomorrow with a full schedule of fixtures across Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
